NIFA Award for Undergraduate Summer Research Program in Digital Agriculture

Drs. Saraswat and Buckmaster (PI) from ABE and collaborators Drs. Holland (ENTM), Ward (STAT), Krogmeier (ECE), and Erickson (AGRY) received funding from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)- National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) under the Research and Extension Experiential Learning for Undergraduate (REEU) program and are excited about delivering this educational opportunity. The funding has been provided for the period 01/01/2019-12/31/2023.

This program allows to support undergraduate students for spending most of summer 2019 at Purdue University in West Lafayette having a wonderful data science and digital agriculture experience.  Their skill set will grow tremendously during this 12 week experience.
